Leasing vs. buying a car

Car buy or rent. Hands with car and money

For most people, a goal is owning their own vehicle, but there are also benefits in leasing a vehicle. One of the biggest differences in leasing vs. buying a car is the finance.

Your monthly payments leasing a car would be cheaper than if you were buying it. Leasing a car is a rental agreement with monthly payments. You don’t get to keep the car because you are renting it until your contract expires. Once your contract expires and you return the vehicle, you also have the option to buy the vehicle at a set price. If you don’t want to purchase it then just have to look for another car to lease or purchase. Benefits of leasing a car instead of buying: cheaper monthly payments, you can keep up with the newest car models by leasing the newest car each year without paying as much as buying a new car.

Purchasing a car includes more expensive monthly payments, especially if it is a new car, but once you pay off the car it is yours. Benefits of owning a car instead of leasing: you don’t have to watch over your miles, after you pay off the vehicle you don’t have monthly payments to worry about, if you want a new car you can trade your car.

As you are looking for a Ford Ranger to buy you have three different models to choose from: XL, XLT, and the Lariat. The XL model has the lowest price and the Lariat costs the most. Although the Lariat is most expensive, it has the most features and technology. To compare the models of the 2020 Ford Ranger, use this link

On the Ford Transits, the gas tank is not conventional. Instead of on the back side of your vehicle, the transit gas tank is near the front driver’s seat door. First you open your door, then you will see your gas tank at the bottom corner of the door.

The 2021 Broncos have six different trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Wildtrak, Badlands, and First Edition

The Base model 2021 bronco was designed for people who are looking for a four wheel drive SUV, that can be customized however they like, used for rugged off-road adventures. The Base Model has the least amount of technology. The Big Bend was designed with more technology which gives more comfort during your off-road experience. The next trim level, the Black Diamond, includes more heavy-duty hardware for your off-roading adventures and a very convenient marine-grade washout interior. If you’re into style, the next trim of the 2021 bronco, Outer Banks, has been styled and has technology included. The WildTrak model includes seven different driving modes (G.O.A.T. mode) and 35-inch tires. The next trim level is the BadLands, adds ultimate off-road capability. It also includes a heavy-duty suspension that has a front stabilizer bar disconnect. The top model, First Edition, includes the Lux Package. It launches with Badlands mechanicals, Outer Banks interior package, and the rugged WildTrak driving modes.

2021 Ford Bronco Driving Modes:

G.O.A.T. mode, available in the new 2021 Ford Broncos, stands for Goes Over Any Type of Terrain including sand, slippery, sport, eco, and normal. G.O.A.T. mode doesn’t just show the new Ford Bronco’s efficiency and focal point, but it’s also what makes the 2021 Ford Bronco different from other vehicles. The unique blend of driving modes in the new Ford Bronco focuses on both on-road and off-road which you do not see often. G.O.A.T. may mean Goes Over Any Type of Terrain, but as the kids use the phrase, I believe the Ford Bronco is the “Greatest of All Time.”

Beyond the standard G.O.A.T. modes, the 2021 Ford Bronco has three other driving modes that can make your off-road experience more exciting. These additional modes focus on rougher, rockier off-road drives, which are what such higher trim models are equipped to handle. These types include: baja, mud/rut, and rock crawl. The three other driving modes are built so you have a more exciting off-road experience in the 2021 Ford Bronco. Those wanting the Mud/Rut drive mode can have it at any trim level beyond the Base model. The Baja drive mode, which enhances more rapid driving in loose sand, is available on the BadLands, Wildtrak, and First Edition trims. Meanwhile, Rock Crawl can be had at the Black Diamond, BadLands, and First Edition trims. However, the drive mode does replace the Sport Mode in both the BadLands and First Edition model. Driving modes in the 2021 Ford Bronco are built and specialized for different people and their different needs.

How to keep your car on the road as long as possible

  1. Change filters regularly.
    1. Your car’s oil filter and air filter become clogged over time, so renewing them regularly is important.
  2. Drive smoothly.
    1. Driving with mechanical sympathy is something you should practice regardless of whether the engine has warmed up or not.
  3. Use your air conditioning.
    1. ‘Use it or lose it’ is a phrase that could be applied to air conditioning.
    2. Air conditioning systems inevitably leak refrigerant gas over time, particularly if they aren’t used regularly.
  4. Replace spark plugs and leads.
    1. A spark plug in a poor condition can either indicate wear over time and needs replacing, or can hint at the condition of your engine.
  5. Top up fluids regularly.
    1. Fluids are your car’s lifeblood and if you fail to replenish them it may have other consequences.
    2. Dark, dirty oil should be replaced. However, dark-colored oil isn’t a cause for alarm with a diesel vehicle.
  6. Check your tire pressure.
    1. Tires are your car’s most important safety feature. Checking them regularly for once a week could save you from a bad accident. It could also save you money.
    2. Flat tires will increase fuel consumption, so keep them topped up to the recommended pressures listed for that tire and vehicle.
  7. Stick to the service schedule.
    1. Regular servicing is important to keep your car in the best condition and prolong its life.
  8. Keep your car clean.
    1. Keeping your vehicle clean isn’t simply about cleanliness but it can also prolong the life of your vehicle.
    2. Cleaning your vehicle which helps to slow down wear and corrosion.
    3. Winter road salt is a corrosive product and bird poop can mess up paint.
    4. You should clean your vehicle yourself because car washes can have stiff brushes that may leave scratches. They also can miss spots. Use a proper cleaning solution rather than washing-up liquid and dry the car using a soft towel.
    5. It’s also important to keep the inside of your car clean.
    6. Using a protective spray on the dashboard plastics reduces the likelihood of cracking or discoloration. Placing a sunshade in the windscreen on bright days helps here, too.
  9. Keep it covered.
    1. Covering your vehicle with a cover or parking it in the garage keeps it dry, clean, and safe. Ir reduces risks of accidental damage, vandalism, and theft.
  10. Keep the weight down.
    1. Carrying extra weight can cause your vehicle’s fuel to rise.
    2. You can also put additional strain on wear-and-tear parts such as tires and brakes.
  11. Maintain your car’s battery.
    1. If you don’t use your car for long periods of time, the battery will degrade.
  12. Don’t use scrap parts.
    1. Using original parts saves money in the long-run by keeping your vehicle on the road.
    2. When it comes to classic cars in particular, originality is key to the vehicle’s future value.
    3. Using what your vehicle’s handbook recommends makes your vehicle’s life prolong.
  13. Have your car rust-proof.
    1. Modern vehicles are very rust-resistant for the most part, but metal corrosion is the number-one killer of vehicles built in the 1990s or before.
    2. Once it rust in a vehicle, it is very hard to repair or not repairable.
  14. Resist the temptation to modify.
    1. Modifying your car is more likely to make it less reliable and shorten its life.
    2. Tuning the engine for more power puts extra strain on components, including the brakes if you drive faster as a result.
    3. Adding a sportier suspension causes additional wear to the chassis, subframes, and/or bushings.
    4. And the money spent on modifications usually won’t increase the value of your vehicle.

When Should I Get My Tires Rotation?

You should get your tires rotated around every six months or 6,000 to 8,000 miles. During rotation, each tire and wheel is removed from your vehicle and moved to a different position to ensure that all tires wear evenly and last longer.
